Spring 2017 Brand Identity Refresh

The JACK FM radio brand asked us to refresh the look and feel of 15 year old logo and develop consistent graphics/treatments across all markets and platforms. The brand is unconventional, witty, clever, having a wiseguy kind of persona with a bit of irreverence, bit of sarcasm. And it’s very inclusive.
Our branding is modern/fresh, unexpected, fun and playful, highlighting the quirkiness and uniqueness of the brand archetype and reflect the Adult Hits radio content the stations play; which ranges from 80's hits to modern day pop, rock and adult contemporary.
We updated the colour palette, added in graphic elements, employed a custom font and numerals. There are five stations across Canada; JACK 92.3 (Smith Falls), JACK 92.9 (Halifax), JACK 96.9 (Calgary & Vancouver) and JACK 102.3 (London) that were versioned.
