KiSS WHAM BAM Music Festival: Mass-Scale Event Branding
To launch the identity for the KiSS WHAM BAM Music Festival, the creative mandate required an explosive, high-energy visual system capable of dominating massive festival environments and scaling seamlessly across digital, broadcast, and merchandise footprints. The project began with an internal, collaborative design sprint to explore a diverse range of conceptual directions before synthesizing the final brand identity.
To maximize creative input, I implemented and led a comprehensive team-wide exploratory design exercise, pooling a wide range of diverse concepts from the internal design department. Through a rigorous, multi-round selection process aimed at narrowing down the strongest brand executions, my own typographic lockups—engineered in both flexible horizontal and vertical configurations—were ultimately selected as the official festival logos.

Once the core identity was finalized, the brand framework was scaled into an immersive, multi-stage live event environment. The visual system was translated into high-impact environmental graphics, colossal main-stage digital screen takeovers, backstage experiential touchpoints, and comprehensive wayfinding signage designed to command the attention of thousands of festival-goers in a high-stimulation concert setting.

The festival footprint extended far beyond the venue gates through a coordinated, multi-platform promotional rollout. The high-contrast colour theory and energetic geometry of the brand were deployed across a massive digital ecosystem, broadcast motion graphics, localized out-of-home advertising, and an extensive line of official event merchandise, creating a cohesive, high-velocity consumer touchpoint at every phase of the festival experience.
